Cookie Policy
We use very few cookies: one analytics tool you can switch off, and a couple of small helpers that make the site work. No advertising cookies, no social media trackers.

Your analytics setting
Cookies we set
| Name | What it's for | How long | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics: tells visits apart so we can count visitors in aggregate. | Up to 2 years | Analytics (optional) |
_ga_<id> | Google Analytics: keeps track of the current visit. | Up to 2 years | Analytics (optional) |
ww_ref | Only set if you arrive through a partner link. Remembers which partner sent you so they get credit. | 30 days | Functional |
Other things we store in your browser
These live in your browser's local storage, never leave your device, and aren't used to track you:
ww_popup_seen: remembers you closed the email sign-up pop-up, so it doesn't keep appearing.- A list of ideas you've voted for on the community board, so you can't vote twice by accident.
ww_analytics_optout: remembers if you turned analytics off.
Do I have to accept cookies?
No. Analytics is optional: switch it off above, use a browser that sends Global Privacy Control (we treat that as an opt-out), or block cookies in your browser settings. The site works the same either way. We don't show a cookie banner because we don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Other websites
When you RSVP on Partiful, book on Calendly, pay with Stripe, shop on our Shopify store or follow a link to social media, those sites set their own cookies under their own policies.
For more on how we handle your information, see our Privacy Policy.
