Good To Know
Do I need a ticket to watch the game?
No. Game entry is always free. Camera Park is a public park, so anyone can walk in and watch.
What is Wanderland?
Wanderland is our free family fan zone at Family In Faith Christian Church (1480 Bloomingdale Rd.), right by Camera Park: it opens at 4:00 PM with a free kids' clinic, plus food and the merch store. Then we all walk over to the match together.
What is the free kids' clinic?
A free soccer session for kids at 4:00 PM, coached by a Wanderers player, at Wanderland before every home game. All skill levels. It's free, just sign up so we know how many are coming.
Do I have to RSVP?
No, you can just walk in. RSVPing on Partiful is free, gets you a reminder, and helps us plan food and the clinic for the right crowd.
Is anything for sale?
Just food and merch, pay as you go. Those sales are how the club pays its bills without charging for entry.
What time should I show up?
Wanderland opens at 4:00 PM at Family In Faith Christian Church. At 5:20 PM we all wander over to Camera Park, kickoff is 5:30 PM, and around 7:15 PM fans come onto the pitch to sing the Flamingos' anthem with the players. The merch store closes at 8:00 PM.
What is the kids pitch?
A second pitch next door, hosted by Family In Faith Christian Church, for unorganized soccer during the match. If your kid wants to move around instead of sitting through the game, that's where they go.
Where do I park?
Parking is free. Three options: the Family In Faith Christian Church lot (1480 Bloomingdale Rd.), the Camera Park lot (101 E. Fullerton Ave), or street parking near Camera Park, first come, first served.
Is it family-friendly?
Yes. It's free, there's a free kids' clinic at 4:00 PM and a kids pitch during the match, and all ages are welcome.
