Privacy Policy
We're a small football club. We collect only what we need to run game days, take orders, and answer you. We don't sell your information to anyone, ever.
What we collect, and when
- Email list and member profile: your name, email, and anything optional you choose to add, such as phone number, city, age range, whether you have kids, and what you'd like to see at games.
- Contact, feedback, and the ideas board: your name, email, and your message. Ideas and comments you post on the board are public, shown with the name you enter.
- Job applications: name, email, phone, the role, and what you tell us about yourself.
- Shop orders: name, email, optional phone, what you ordered, and a shipping address if you choose shipping. Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Zelle payments are handled by your bank.
- $75 partners: business name, contact name, email, phone, website, logo, and blurb. Business name, website, logo, and blurb may be published on our partners page. Contact details are not.
- Automatically: basic server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) kept by our host for security and debugging.
Phone numbers and texts
A phone number is always optional. We only text you if you tick the box asking for text reminders, and only about game days and club news. Reply STOP to any text, or email us, and we'll remove your number. Message and data rates may apply.
How we use it
- To send the game reminders and club news you signed up for.
- To fulfil orders, reply to messages, and review applications.
- To plan game days, for example knowing roughly how many families are coming.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site.
Who processes it for us
- Vercel hosts the website.
- Google Analytics tells us, in aggregate, which pages get visited. It uses cookies. A browser ad or tracker blocker turns it off and the site works the same.
- Supabase stores form submissions and orders.
- Resend delivers our emails.
- Stripe processes card payments.
- Partiful handles game RSVPs and Calendly handles training calls. Those happen on their sites, under their privacy policies.
Kids
Our games are for families, but this website's forms are meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has submitted information, email us and we'll delete it.
Photos at games
We photograph and film our game days at a public park and may use that footage on this site and our social accounts. If you'd like a photo of you or your child taken down, email us and we will.
Your choices
- Every email has an unsubscribe link. It works immediately.
- You can ask to see, correct, or delete what we hold about you at any time.
Email hello@wheatonwanderersfc.com and a real person will handle it, usually within a few days.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and say so on the site.
