About this episode
Sam Marchi came up through West Ham's academy alongside Declan Rice, left England at 18, survived a Missouri JUCO, played pro in England with South Shields, and now coaches the next generation. We talk about what talent really looks like at 15, why "good effort" isn't coaching, the scholarship rules nobody explains, and what every player and parent should know about the path to pro.
