About this episode
Episode 2 of the Wheaton Wanderers FC Podcast. John sits down with Cody Starrett, soccer dad to Carson, who called him from a U.S. national team camp an hour before we recorded. Cody covers the whole journey: the first practice that almost made him cry, throwing Carson's cleats out the window on a Phoenix freeway, the Barça Residency Academy, Orlando City, and his advice for every soccer parent: help them fall in love with the game, let them make mistakes, and don't get in their way.
