Why He Walked Away After 11 Seasons Managing a Non-League Club

About this episode

Episode 3 of the Wheaton Wanderers FC Podcast. John sits down with Chris Wise, who managed Wincanton Town for 11 seasons before stepping down in April. Chris covers taking the club up to step five of the English non-league pyramid, an FA Cup run, a family operation with his dad as chairman, his mum running the kitchen and his brother as captain, a 25-game unbeaten run, the Ronan Keating song that became the team's winning anthem, and why he stepped down so the club could grow.
